Where do you go when you want to kick back, relax, and forget about the stress of your every day life? Most people get in the mood for a good vacation at least once a year, and today more and more of them are opting to spend this valuable time on Gold Coast holidays.

So, what does Gold Coast, Australia have to offer? What are some of the premier destinations that people all over the world are returning to year after year?

In short, Gold Coast holidays are a big hit around the world because they offer a little something for everyone. From some of the most amazing beaches in the world to five and six star accommodations with lagoons, waterfalls, beachside bars, and tons of other amusements, this is one destination that will easily accommodate people from every culture of the world, with every possible interest and goal for their vacation.

One of the best destinations for Gold Coast holidays is Surfers Paradise. From the name, you can probably guess that it offers some of the most amazing beaches that are qualified for great surfing. Yet, there is so much more to this location that it is suitable to those who do not share the love of surfing that attracts so many others to this location every year.

Surfers Paradise is also home to some of the best full service, five star resorts. You can go here to completely withdraw from your every day life and just relax for a period of time. If you have children, there are patrolled beaches that will allow you to enjoy yourself while they play and have fun all of their own.

Another premier destination for Gold Coast holidays is the Broadbeach area. Again, you can experience some of the most breathtaking beaches in this are but there are a lot of other entertainments to enjoy as well.

In fact, many people enjoy staying in resorts and hotels that sit right between Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise. One of those accommodations is called The Penthouses. It is a reasonably affordable apartment complex where you can stay and enjoy scenery and events in both beautiful locations.

Overall, Gold Coast holidays are suitable to families, individuals, and groups who are interested in exploring the beaches and getting out on the water. Surfing is a huge attraction for this part of Australia, but there are many other amusements that can be enjoyed.

For instance, many families enjoy visiting theme parks on the Gold Coast with their children of all ages. Some of the more popular theme park attractions include Sea World Australia, Warner Bros. Movie World, White Water World, and the extremely versatile Wonderworld.

Of course, a lot of the theme parks that can be visited on Gold Coast holidays are centered on the water and the animals that live within the waters of Australia. After all, that is the main allure of this intoxicating coastal area.

One last thing that seems to attract a lot of travelers to Gold Coast holidays is the easy access to casinos and other types of adult entertainment. While many areas like Broadbeach are great destinations for families, there is also plenty opportunity for adults to have their fun as well.

I love Miami . It's not as up market as the big high rise areas but to me it's slightly out of the hustle and bustle of Surfers. The beach there is good and super walks along the water front and over the hill to North Burleigh . There's some good places to stay there and Nobbys beach next to it is very popular just along the road a bit towards Surfers is hedges avenue where houses sell for many millions of Dollars then another couple of ks north of there is Kurrawa beach which is accross the road from the casino and Convention centre . Go for a meal at the kurrawa surf club then take the monorail over the highway and back just $2 . Wander around the Oasis shopping centre and opposite that is a smaller shopping centre called Neicon plaza walk in there and see the big bronze statue of the man from Snowy river on horse back surrounded by some amazing opal and Banjo pattersons poem is written out there. Very interesting for the boys and not a lot of people know it's there. If you go to harbour town shopping get off at the Grand Hotel Labrador wander along the Broadwater buy some fish and chips for lunch then just after 12 Charis fish and chip shop feed the pelicans they come into the safe swimming spot there. You could do a day trip to South stradbroke island Couran point and you book and get the boat from Marina Mirage and can use the facilities at the resort. Lunch is in with the price. also Currumbin wildlife sanctuary is a good day out. A rental car would be handy for some of the time you are there . The buses run regular along the highway. You will see any amount of leaflets advertiseing various things to do on The Gold Coast. You could get the train to Brisbane and wander around South Bank , thats a good day out at the weekends there are markets then we have markets on the gold Coast as well Friday night along the esplanade at Surfers . there are some at Kurrawa and Burleigh about once a month . Also the Carrara markets at the weekend. Take a wander around pacific fair as well. There's a great little bakery at nobbys beach
