Making Magic on a Gold Coast Holiday

Like many people the world over you may have long thought about taking a holiday or vacation to Australia.  If that is the case, you may want to plan for a Gold Coast holiday.  When all is said and done, a Gold Coast holiday really can be a once in a lifetime (indeed, magical) experience.  Through this article you are provided with the information that you will need to plan your Gold Coast holiday, including Gold Coast accommodation pointers.

When it comes to an Australian travel destination, Gold Coast actually is at the top of the list.  The facts are that 1,000,000 international travelers and 3,000,000 domestic travelers descend on Gold Coast throughout the course of any given year.  And, the number of people who come to Gold Coast is increasing annually.  With this in mind, there actually is a great variety of Gold Coast accommodation selections from which you can chose from on your own Gold Coast holiday.

When you are planning a Gold Coast holiday, you may very well want to center your stay around the Gold Coast beaches.  The beaches at Gold Coast are considered some of the best in the world.  These beaches particularly are popular with surfers.  However, if you are not a surfer, there are plenty of other recreational opportunities available to you at the beaches as well.  The beaches are also perfect for plain old relaxation in the sun as well.  Understanding all of this, there are some fantastic Gold Coast accommodation options that are situated at the beach.  These Gold Coast accommodation choices include stunning resorts but also hotels that are perfectly suited and priced to families traveling together that are looking to watch the bottom line on their trip.

Beyond the beaches, there are other attractions in Gold Coast that you will want to consider.  For example, if you are traveling with the family, you will want to check out the Gold Coast theme parks.  Located near these highly popular and very exciting venues are a nice selection of Gold Coast accommodation options that are ideal for families.  Reasonably priced, these Gold Coast accommodation choices come complete with different types of amenities that are suited to people of different ages.

As an aside, if you are traveling with your family and want both comfortable and affordable Gold Coast accommodation choices, you will want to consider closely leasing one or another of the Gold Coast apartments that are available to people quite like you.  In this day and age a good share of the families that are traveling together are opting for Gold Coast apartments because of the space and amenities these Gold Cost accommodation options offer.  Moreover, in many instances it is cheaper to lease Gold Coast apartments than it is to put up the whole clan in a hotel.

Finally, if you want to spend some time gaming, there are Gold Coast accommodation options available to you that are associated with the casinos.  These properties would be ideal for you if you want to spend time gambling and taking in other nighttime entertainment that Gold Coast has to offer.

From Brisbane International and Domestic Airport you can catch the train which goes direct to Robina Railway Station….and from there you can get onto the Surfside Bus which takes you to the southern most suburb of the Gold Coast-Coolangatta and then proceeds next to Tweed Heads, the last stoppage which is actually the northern most town of New south Wales. This is more cheaper also provided you carry less luggage and arrive during the day time. The journey time is almost 1 hours and 30 minutes.

The other option is to take the coachtrans small bus service which is available from the airport. It is a door to door service. You will have to give the exact address where you want to go. The cost is approximately 35 AUD one way. But it is very convinient, once you and your luggage has boarded, just sit back and relax. The journey time is around 2 hours.

Sunset Strip is one of the best back packers on the Gold Coast. It is located in Coolangatta near the surfing beaches. The approximate cost is 50 AUD per night per room and 10 AUD for the key which will be returned back when you check out. The Tweed Mall shopping center is just walking distance from here, where you can go to shop for your necisities. Beacause at backpackers you will have to cook your own food…unless you eat at an outside restaurant.

    Have a great Holiday…..Cheers!
