Gold Coast Holidays – What You Must Know

A paradise is not something you can fully explore by foot.

The Gold Coast is one of the modern-day paradises which offer every form of pleasure for every kind of personality. The thing is, it is a very expansive paradise, and one must know that the best fun in the Gold Coast is not just limited to activities by the beach.

While there are many enjoyable water activities to choose from like surfing, diving, cruising, fishing, whale and dolphin watching, and the likes, this is not everything the Gold Coast can offer. But for those who are water lovers, you can surely find cheap apartments or upscale chic hotels in the Surfers Beach, Main Beach and Broadbeach areas. In the Boradbeach, you can even enjoy a vibrant night life and unforgettable food trips.

But these are not all. Gold Coast boasts of many other activities like going to the theme parks or doing some nature tripping in the wildlife. For the more artistic and nostalgic souls, a trip to the museum or fabulous historical places is also a possibility. There are in fact lots of fun activities to do in Gold Coast which would not cost you a cent. Beach swimming is one. Walking by the beach by sunset or sunrise is an equally exhilarating experience as an expensive cruise.

The best fashion houses which can be at par to Europe’s glamour are also found in Surfers Beach and Broadbeach areas. Window shopping is not prohibited. National parks – with breathtaking waterfalls and streams – do not charge entrance fees.

What essential items to pack for holiday with child in Gold Coast?
I'll be going on a holiday to Gold Coast, Australia with my 4-year old son & hubby in early November. What are the essential items I have to take for myself & my son to keep us comfortable there? This will be our 1st holiday trip overseas as a family & I'm a bit nervous about keeping the balance – romantic for hubby & practical but fun with my son. Any advise?

From Brisbane International and Domestic Airport you can catch the train which goes direct to Robina Railway Station….and from there you can get onto the Surfside Bus which takes you to the southern most suburb of the Gold Coast-Coolangatta and then proceeds next to Tweed Heads, the last stoppage which is actually the northern most town of New south Wales. This is more cheaper also provided you carry less luggage and arrive during the day time. The journey time is almost 1 hours and 30 minutes.

The other option is to take the coachtrans small bus service which is available from the airport. It is a door to door service. You will have to give the exact address where you want to go. The cost is approximately 35 AUD one way. But it is very convinient, once you and your luggage has boarded, just sit back and relax. The journey time is around 2 hours.

Sunset Strip is one of the best back packers on the Gold Coast. It is located in Coolangatta near the surfing beaches. The approximate cost is 50 AUD per night per room and 10 AUD for the key which will be returned back when you check out. The Tweed Mall shopping center is just walking distance from here, where you can go to shop for your necisities. Beacause at backpackers you will have to cook your own food…unless you eat at an outside restaurant.

    Have a great Holiday…..Cheers!

South Park is a series that much about it because the topics are considered taboo and often turned to derision, but also why we love him so much ^ ^
