From Brisbane International and Domestic Airport you can catch the train which goes direct to Robina Railway Station….and from there you can get onto the Surfside Bus which takes you to the southern most suburb of the Gold Coast-Coolangatta and then proceeds next to Tweed Heads, the last stoppage which is actually the northern most town of New south Wales. This is more cheaper also provided you carry less luggage and arrive during the day time. The journey time is almost 1 hours and 30 minutes.

The other option is to take the coachtrans small bus service which is available from the airport. It is a door to door service. You will have to give the exact address where you want to go. The cost is approximately 35 AUD one way. But it is very convinient, once you and your luggage has boarded, just sit back and relax. The journey time is around 2 hours.

Sunset Strip is one of the best back packers on the Gold Coast. It is located in Coolangatta near the surfing beaches. The approximate cost is 50 AUD per night per room and 10 AUD for the key which will be returned back when you check out. The Tweed Mall shopping center is just walking distance from here, where you can go to shop for your necisities. Beacause at backpackers you will have to cook your own food…unless you eat at an outside restaurant.

    Have a great Holiday…..Cheers!
